VAT/Bookkeeping Senior
Samantha joined our bookkeeping team after developing a wide range of skills in her working career. Initially completing her NVQ in Business Administration and Key Skills and numerous computing and bookkeeping courses, she started her first bookkeeping role in 1996.
After working in the bookkeeping department for a local sandwich company for ten years, she worked for an engineering company before joining Green & Co in 2013.
Both roles gave Sam a great insight into bookkeeping, and it helped her understand the need to ensure accurate records to produce meaningful monthly management reports. Her bookkeeping experience also helped her husband build his own business as a mechanic.
Sam spent her time looking after her horse and competing at show jumping events in her younger days. However, since having a family, her time is spent watching her children enjoy various activities – netball, swimming, dancing, horse riding (the list goes on for her daughter). In contrast, her son has quite happily stuck at football. Other than this, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends.
