Farming Associate
Susannah French joined Green & Co in 2024 as a Farming Associate, bringing with her a wealth of experience in rural business advisory. Originally from Cumbria, Susannah relocated to Wales to continue her career in agricultural accounting and consultancy.
Susannah’s journey in the rural business sector began in 2009 when she transitioned from corporate audit at EY to Safferys in Bournemouth. There, she specialised in working with landed estates and agricultural clients across Dorset and Hampshire. In 2016, Susannah moved to Cumbria, where she became a senior manager at Armstrong Watson. During her time there, she provided a broad range of services to farming and landed estates clients across Cumbria, Northumberland, and Yorkshire, focusing not only on annual accounts and tax compliance but also on farm diversification projects, cashflow management, and succession planning.
As an Associate at Green & Co, Susannah works closely with the partners, managing a portfolio of farming clients, addressing their queries, and training junior staff members.
Outside of work, Susannah is passionate about her Arab horses and competes in endurance events. Her longest distance successfully completed was 130km. She also enjoys bagging Wainwrights in the Lake District and has been exploring the Welsh mountains since moving to Wales.
