Advisory Service Aims to Connect Farmers to the Professionals They Need
The Farming Connect Advisory Service aims to provide expert, independent, confidential and bespoke advice to Farm and Forestry businesses.
Through consultation with approved providers, farmers can address problems or make improvements on their farms, which can include, amongst other things, business planning advice, livestock management and performance, or grassland, crop and woodland management.
When receiving help on a one to one basis, the advice is 80% funded, up to the value of 1,500 Euros; if in a group of between 3 and 8 people, then funding will cover 100% of the cost. Farming Connect’s current list of approved advisory firms include RSK ADAS, AgriPlan Cymru, Kite Consultation, Promar International and many more.
Eligible businesses can apply for up to four separate instances of bespoke advice through the service, whose current programme ends in 2022.
