Drive Through HMRC’s Online Services
So far more than 100,000 individuals have checked their car benefit and car fuel benefit using HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) online services.
Accessed via the Personal Tax Account, the service allows customers to update HMRC as soon as their circumstances change and check the amounts that are currently reported. It means that they can immediately see the impact any change has on their tax code.
Ruth Owen, Director General of Customer Service, HMRC said:
“With the new online service customers can keep their tax affairs up to date in real time putting customers in control of their tax affairs. The online service means people can keep updated on any device, at any time of the night and day.”
