New Energy Resilience Grant for Manufacturers

The Government has launched a new Energy Resilience Grant to support manufacturing businesses.

The new grant will help you invest in equipment and buildings to reduce energy use.

To be eligible for the Energy Resilience Grant, you must:

  • be a manufacturing business
  • employ between 10 and 100 people, and
  • be located in Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Newport, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Torfaen and the Vale of Glamorgan

The maximum award you can claim is up to £25,000 or 70% of eligible costs, whichever is lower.

Investments can include renewables, boiler equipment, heat pumps and lighting. You can see a more detailed list of upgrades here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/energy-technology-list.
