Farmers must move quickly to get on green scheme
Farmers is Wales wishing to be considered for a Glastir Advanced agreement starting in January 2017, do not have long to register their interest.
Glastir Advanced is the most targeted agri-environmental scheme and aims to deliver improvements to habitats, species, soil and water quality.
The window of interest for the scheme officially opened on 9th November and will close at midnight 4th December.
Extra points go to those farms with registered beehives following concern over falling numbers of pollinators.
In previous years, farmers have been required to have an entry contract before applying for Glastir Advanced, however this year it is not the case.
Farmers wishing to be considered for the scheme need to submit their interest using a Rural Payments Wales online account.
