Green & Co Have Been Named Medium Practice of the Year
On Thursday 20 September, the nation’s top accountants gathered and celebrated in style at the Accounting Excellence Awards in London. This prestigious event pinpoints professional development and innovation and celebrates those that have demonstrated excellence in the world of accountancy.
This year we were nominated for Medium Practice of the Year and Client Service of the Year. Green & Co partners, Barrie Kenyon, Ed Gooderham and Nick Park attended the ceremony held at InterContinental in Park Lane and were delighted to win the prestigious award.
Upon winning the award, Accounting Excellence stated that:
“The judges mapped each of your successes back to your client-focused approach. Whether it’s through inheritance tax reviews, offering easy to use performance dashboards, or running free seminars, your client care initiatives made a long-term difference to their survival and prosperity.
The winner of this category registered significant growth in new clients and revenue, but what impressed the judges most was the firm’s coherent approach to business life after MTD.”
Nick explains what winning the award means to us:
“This award is far more than a trophy, for us it acknowledges the whole team’s hard work, dedication and focus on client service.
To compete on a national level against likeminded proactive accountancy firms, who all strive to be the best, is an interesting challenge. To win confirms that we are taking the business in the right direction and is a real motivation to continue striving to improve. We are always looking for opportunities to provide new innovative products and services to our clients that are beyond those offered by other accountancy firms. This award confirms that our vision is correct.
We would also like to thank Sage for their ongoing support and belief in us by nominating us for the awards.”
This is the first national award that we have been in the running for, and to come away with a win is extraordinary! Some of the team will be attending the British Accountancy Awards this week, can we add to this success?
Keep your eyes peeled!
