Keeping Christmas Personal

23 December 2015

At Christmas, people want to feel valued and special – that goes for your customers too. Remember, they are the lifeblood of your business. So how can you foster a better relationship with your customers over the festive period?

Christmas is traditionally a period for office parties and work related socialising, so make the most of the opportunities to get out there and meet your customers. Actually meeting face to face in an informal setting is a great way to build a rapport and improve your relationship!

If you are not throwing your own party, keep an eye out for invitations from your clients and customers – it’s a great way to network with people who can potentially become future clients.

If you have important clients nearby perhaps hand deliver them a Christmas card or a Christmas gift.

Perhaps provide some freebies to your clients or customers. Don’t be intimidated by giving away for free – remember that it can build credibility and strengthen your relationship.

Whatever you may do this Christmas time, make your customers feel special and you can build better relationships that can help your business to thrive in the long run.
