Second National Award for Cwmbran Accountancy Firm

Green & Co’s success has been covered in the South Wales Argus.

Cwmbran accountancy firm Green & Co have won a national award for a second time in four years.

Green & Co Accountants and Tax Advisors has beaten firms across all of Wales and the Midlands to bring a prestigious national award back to Gwent. The Cwmbran-based firm struck gold as they achieved Independent Firm of the Year category at the 2017 British Accountancy Awards held at the London Hilton Park Lane.

It is the second win for the firm after scooping the award back in 2014; albeit for the category covering Wales only, not the Midlands as with the recent award.

Speaking of the win, Barrie Kenyon, Partner, said:

“It is a great honour for us to be acknowledged, once again, with such a prestigious accolade. It shows the hard work and dedication of all our staff to continue to provide our clients with the best service and advice possible. Our business has developed hugely since we last won the award. Over 750 guests from accountancy practices all over the country attended the ceremony, which was hosted by comedian and TV personality Hugh Dennis.

The British Accountancy Awards recognises firms that have provided the highest quality of service to their clients. The judging criteria for this award looked at how the firm’s services have been fundamental in enabling their clients to achieve their business goals. The judges noted that:

“Green & Co presented strong strategic planning across many areas of the business. They also have a really positive attitude towards work/life balance.”
